The dj as a therapist

As a hypno- en regressiontherapist, Iradi used to work with Shamanistic techniques like trancedance and soul retrieval. Later on he added electronic dancemusic to these ancient rituals. He found out that specific music can be very helpful exploring the unconsciousness. Like a Mother Earth heartbeat, it can bring you back to, for example, the energetic womb. (Which gives one the opportunity to make conscious what has been unconscious.)
In that same period he spend hours on the Dutch dancefloors. And to him all the dj’s he saw were therapists.
The ambition to become a dj was born!
When now spinnin’ in a club, he knows the music works deep into the crowd. To someone the music can be healing, relaxing, therapeutic, psychedelic, and what else.
They say dancing is one of the most origin ways to contact the one you really are. When one becomes one with the dance, it’s possible to experience another dimension of time and space. The dj plays a very important roll in that process.
The sounds of Iradi
The sound of Iradi can’t be labeled. In a live set he mixes all kinds of music into a new blend of unique sounds. Travelling trough various musical landscapes to guide, lead, follow and surprise the dancer. Iradi always knows how to be tuned in on the crowd; in service to the dancers.
Nataraj Sound
Nataraj is the Cosmic Clubbin sensation from The Netherlands. It plays a whole new sound wich isn’t easy to describe. It’s a variety of sounds from electro to world, from ambient to cross-over. The latest and best music from every corner of the world. Global Trance is one of the labels that comes close to it.
Nataraj started out in 2002 in Amsterdam, and allready spread it’s wings to Utrecht, Enschede and Rotterdam. Besides the regular weekly parties it’s also very well known because of the summer beachparties in Scheveningen en Zandvoort, the New Years Eve party and the midsummer forrest party.
Iradi is, together with founder Shanto, resident dj of Nataraj.
