Zaterdag 15 januari is het de beurt aan de Gringo’s uit Groningen om La Luna weer op hun grondvesten te laten schudden. Gringo wat oorspronkelijk een vervorming van Green Coat betekende en later als “vreemdeling” werd aangemerkt zal je deze vreemde reggae als een plezierige evaring laten beleven!

“Giving Reggae music a new dimension”
De Gringo’s play “Punky Reggae”, according to their own description. Combining it with influences from Ska, Pop, Punk and Pop they recorded their first album called: “Where to Go?”. The answer is in the question and so they are full of energy to keep on trying to stretch their music further. It’s raw,pure and with a message !
The band of five is invited to play as local heroes at GrunnSonic in January part of the Eurosonic/Noorderslag showcase festival witch takes place in Groningen, Holland. After preforming at the yearly traveling festival De Popronde the band now gets a shot to present themself to a bigger audience.
Zowaar voor het eerst een onvervalste duitse ska-reggae-metal-skate-band uit Krefeld in het altijd sfeervolle La Luna. Wie komt er nog meer? Jawel dat is onze superervaren Tin Wish Tin die binnenkort (26 nov) wederom zijn kunsten vertoont bij Giel Beelen op 3fm op radio én TV.
